What we love about Glasto is not just the music, but the 4-day fashion show by our music-loving celebs. So if you’re looking for a Glastonbury-inspired fashion look, then check out top style icons from this year’s music lineup and ask yourself – which style icon would you be?

Katy Perry

Katy Perry may be the most mainstream artist on stage this year, but we expect nothing more than outrageous looks from our Queen of Insta.

Recently undergoing a transformation, looking sensational with her new peroxide pixie cut, we are thinking glamour, sparkles and anything fun!

Lorde looks quirky and always individual. One minute she’s wearing a cute pink dress and trainers, the next high-waisted mum’s jeans. No skinnies for this girl.

Known for her Goth-inspired look, wearing black crushed velvet, this year’s Glastonbury should see her back on stage in cropped tops or her signature glittery tops amd high waisted trousers/jeans.

Hunters aside, we think trainers will be popular this year.

Haim (Indie-pop) are hailed style icons from LA.

Wearing cropped black denim shorts on stage, statement T-shirts, ankle boots, you will definitely look ‘festival ready’ wearing this look.

“I think we all wear what we’re most confident in,” said Alana in an interview with Vogue, adding that vintage band tees are still in heavy rotation.

Dua Lipa is the new girl crush of 2017. She is hot.

For those of you who love Dua Lipa, think leather, 90s-inspired style outfits…the girl loves her chokers.

According to Vogue, she doesn’t go anywhere without her platform boots. Ankle boots a is a way to carry off the glam rock look Glastonbury-style. That said, trainers may prevail.

Glastonbury may start off with bikini tops, cool accessories and shades. With the weather starting to cool down, wrap up in something equally as sexy for the evenings.

Keep the bikini top for all weathers.

Solange needs no introduction on the fashion circuit. Original, stylish and outlandish, Solange always looks AMAZING. According to Glamour magazine, she loves yellow – this year’s festival colour. Especially known for her jumpsuits.

“If you’re setting so much intention on a style then I think you kind of miss the mark of really getting to experience the entire experience. So I would say wear what makes you feel 100 percent yourself and carry that onto the festival” – Fashionista magazine. Oh yeah, she also has a famous sis called Beyonce!

Charli XCX appeared on stage in a sexy schoolgirl outfit back in 2015 at Glastonbury, so we can’t wait to see the reveal in 2017. Think Dr Martens, small shorts/skirts/dresses. Rock chick with a girly twist!

Off stage, Charli rocked her ultimate festival look, with Hunter wellies, choker, cropped top, a flared short skirt, with a top wrapped around her waist. Cool rock-chick shades a must.

In 2017 Charli has adopted a softer look. Team up shorts, a cropped top, light shiny jacket (a girl has to dance as well as look good!), and trainers.

Accessories can do a lot for your outfits. They can save you money – more accessories mean fewer clothes are needed, make you stand out and make you appear more stylish. Wardrobes are usually kept simple, and it’s the accessories that add the magic to your outfits. You wouldn’t cook without seasoning, and accessories are your salt and pepper!

The clothing you wear will be vital for appearing stylish, but it’s not the only area of importance. Your face will play a big role in how you come across, and good skincare can be the difference between make and break! There are five main kinds of skin types: Combination, Sensitive, Oily, Dry and Normal. Once you know your skin type, create an effective skincare routine for you. A good cleanser, toner and moisturiser is the way to go.

Everyone loves a great summer tan, although sometimes it won’t be appropriate for your outfit and a clash is a big nono! A nice bronzed shimmer can be a great addition to your look, but avoid the orange at all costs! With the right faux tan, your skin can appear sun kissed but not over the top. The same rule applies with make-up. It’s one of the best pleasures as a girl, but it is also an art. If your skin is great, you don’t need foundation or concealer – it’s unnecessary and can dampen your style. Experiment and find the right combination of makeup and natural beauty for you.

You could own all the latest designer clothing, but if it doesn’t fit, it’s not a hit. At Adolescent Clothing, we think the number one priority is fitting. If your outfit compliments your body size and shape, it will enhance all your personal strengths and make you look great. Not to mention the confidence boost that can give you! If you’re smaller and want to appear bigger, baggy clothes won’t cut it. They will only highlight your smaller frame and create the opposite effect. Likewise, on the other side of the scale fitted clothes are still the way.

If you’re heading to college, university, or work – you don’t have to look like the front cover of a magazine to be considered stylish. Even if you’re having a night on the town, you should always have fun getting dressed and choosing your outfits. It shouldn’t feel like a chore! Your fashion choices are a form of self-expression, and if they make you feel confident and you think you look the part, it’s a big tick from us!
